Slow and Steady

I have been home a bit more than usual this month, so I have been working on my latest project. Here are some of my progress pictures.
And here is a picture of some of these pieces put together.
As you can see from this picture, not all of the pieces in the collage have been added to this yet. I’m not sure how many of these “circles” I can fuse together before I start placing them on the background fabric. The piece is starting to get heavy and is somewhat delicate. I don’t want the weight to “pull” it apart. There are always problems to solve when making art. Sometimes the solving is fun, but sometimes that is the part I hate the most.

I hope it all goes smoothly. I love the colors of this quilt. I am amazed that you can keep straight where all these pieces go.

Beth, the colors are lovely and the flow is mesmerizing. Glad you have been home more to work on it. What is making is somewhat delicate?

I have the same feeling about creating the "new"... sometimes problem solving is the best part. What I see... in your piece now. sort of reminds me of marbling.... Which may lead me down a path... someday.

It's guaranteed to be very interesting. I've been watching on IG and wondering where it's going - not that it has to go to any particular destination, but I think you have something in mind. =)
