I am getting this post out really late on this Wednesday. I have copies of these patterns and had fully intended to show a colored version of this drawing. However, I have been on vacation in the Northeast and haven't had time--one of these days...
I was thinking of sun and surf when I drew this up (sun, surf, innertubes, and beach towels).
Here is a picture from my vacation. I ate enough lobster to almost make me sick. This bad boy weighed in at 3 1/2 pounds. I certainly enjoyed him. Maybe he'll be the inspiration for a future drawing!
As usual, I'll try to link up with Lynn Krawczyky's Weekly Pattern Wednesday. I checked her Facebook page, but didn't see a place to link up yet. I guess her website/blog is still having server issues.

Interesting pattern. I am sure you will be inspired by the sections of the lobster at some point.
Your patterns are SO interesting!!! I think I'm done...I didn't do one this week and just too busy trying to finish up projects before we leave in December...yea, well, that's the only excuse I can think of! HA Keep it up!!!
I'm glad you ate so much lobster. That takes care of my share for this year. You can have it every year. LOL I love this week's design. I'm running late in commenting, but that's not because I don't love the design. When I first saw it, a steamer trunk popped into mind. I saw one this week that belonged to a friend's grandmother. It was her most important heirloom, and seeing this drawing, that just popped into my head. I think it would be great colored, but I love it in black and white.
