This is a Juki QVP (Quilt Virtuoso Pro) quilting machine. I ordered it when I was at the Paducah quilt show in April. I still have two extensions to the table that have yet to be delivered. (They are on backorder.) There is lots of room under the machine for working--10" high and 18" of throat space. I should be able to quilt most anything I'm working on these days; however, this machine doesn't solve the basting issue. I'm hoping my friends that own long-arm machines will be willing to take on some basting jobs. My biggest problem, now, is finding time to play on the machine. I'll be gone to Arkansas to visit the granddaughter and to three (yes, 3) quilt retreats in June. (I know, I know, you don't feel sorry for me.) Anyway, my goal is to have some quilted quilts/table runners to show you before too long.
I'm excited!

Looking forward to seeing what you can do with this beauty. New toys, new joys.
You will love it, I got a Babylock Tiara in March and have been thrilled with all the extra quilting space!
WOW! Can't wait to see how you like sewing on this...that is IF you can stay home long enough! HA HA HA
It has handles on the front? I know you will enjoy it - yes, basting is a big advantage of a longarm - or not basting, I should say. And if someone has red snappers, no pinning on the leaders either! But I know several people who have some kind of sit down machine and they all love them.
I can't wait to see some of your work with your quilting on it. I'm sure you'll do awesome with it!
